Interested in attending CGAPP’s annual conference in September?

ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS TO SEE IF THIS CONFERENCE IS RIGHT FOR YOU.
  1. Are you an APP (Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner)?
  2. Are you working in a Genetics clinic?
  3. Are you seeing clinical genetics patients? (Patients under research trials do not count as clinical).
  4. Are you spending at least 50% of your work time in the clinical setting?

Unfortunately, if you answered no to any of the above questions you are not eligible for conference registration at this time. Please know that we are working to change this in the future as we recognize the high demand and need for genetics education.

Due to the restraints of current grant funding and conference space, registration is limited to practicing Genetics APPs. We recognize this means there are phenomenal APPs doing genetics research or in other subspecialties that won’t be able to attend, and we encourage you to consider revisiting the website as the conference evolves in the future to offer more opportunities for attendance! CGAPP ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Since 2019, CGAPP hosts an annual conference that provides education and networking support to APPs working in clinical genetics.

The CGAPP conference will present high level clinical and research topics that are relevant to APPs. This includes the treatment of genetic disorders, developments in genetic testing and screening, etiology of genetic disorders, and much more. Breakout sessions will be used to discuss clinical practice in metabolic and general clinics. This is the only conference designed for the clinical genetics APP.
